Having spent three days visiting Bridlington, Scarborough and Whitby, just to get away for a break; we have returned with some video footage covering the routes which Bram Stoker may have walked back in 1890, when he had visited and stayed at Mrs Veazey’s guesthouse at number 6 Royal Crescent.

Bram Stoker

And for those that may not be aware, Bram Stoker is of course the author of perhaps one of the most iconic characters in the horror genre – DRACULA!

Stoker spent a week exploring the fabulous surroundings that Whitby had, and still has to offer, using iconic structures such as the famous Whitby Abbey, the alleyways and the people whom all lived and worked there, many of which appear in his novel.

The video footage we took will be used in an upcoming short story, showcasing the very steps Bram Stoker would have walked all those years ago.

We cannot be sure when it will be available, but we will keep you updated accordingly.
