The DISTURBING but TRUE Story of the EGERTON MURDERS | Bolton, 1998

Loading

In the quiet village of Egerton, England, the peaceful façade was shattered in 1998 when Celeste Bates and her two young sons, Milo and Daniel, were brutally murdered in their own home. The killer, Peter Christopher Hall – a man known to the family – carried out the savage act before calmly collecting the boys from school and a childminder, taking them to their deaths. The case sent ripples through the community, yet remains little-known beyond local headlines.

Much like the Amityville murders, where Ronald DeFeo Jr. slaughtered his entire family in their home, and the chilling Chris Watts case, where a husband murdered his pregnant wife and two daughters to pursue a new life, the Egerton murders reflect the same haunting theme: the home – meant to be a place of safety – becoming a scene of unthinkable violence. But unlike those infamous American cases, the story of Celeste, Milo, and Daniel has been tragically buried in time.

Our YouTube channel delves deep into the chilling world of historical true crime, uncovering forgotten cases and unsolved mysteries that continue to haunt the past. With a focus on true crime narratives, each video explores the dark truths behind real-life horrors, ensuring true crime enthusiasts are captivated by every story.
