The Beast of Green Drive, Lytham .. A True Tale!

Loading

It was during May, 2005, when over twenty residents of Lytham began reporting strange sightings in a place known locally as ‘Green Drive’.

Each witness pretty much told the same story. A ‘beast’ that looked as big as a collie. It had disproportionately large ears and a wide open mouth. It’s fur looked mangy and unkempt and it had a strange gait.

What is the origin of this tale and do these sightings still occur today?

We also visit the grave of the ‘Witch’, a horse which tragically died on the 5th January 1888, and the grave, along with the headstone, can still be found to this day.
