Blackout KILLER: The Chilling Case of the COLNE Strangler, 1941

,

Loading

On March 25, 1941, tragedy struck in the small town of Colne when a 19-year-old woman was murdered shortly after leaving Colne Technical College.

Her killer, who would soon become infamously known as the “Colne Strangler,” eluded capture, leaving the community gripped by fear and sadness.

This brutal attack wasn’t isolated; just the night before, a 16-year-old girl from nearby Reedley narrowly survived a similar assault, sparking concerns that the same man may have been responsible.

These horrifying events cast a dark shadow over the area, fueling both rumors and dread as residents grappled with the fear that a dangerous predator was among them.
