In this video, we explore the now derelict Eden Wood Mill that is situated close to the small village of Stubbins.

Built around 1801, it was used as a dyeing facility for Turnbull and Stockdale Limited, to work alongside their weavin and bleaching incoporations.

The doors finally closed around 2001, and ever since, nature has slowly reclaimed the entire area, leaving much of the mill inaccessible.

You can download a PDF file that is located on the Rossendale Council website which outlines future plans for the area.
