When we first set out on our journey – unearthing long-forgotten stories and breathing life into voices nearly lost to time – we never imagined where it would lead us. What began as quiet walks through overgrown graveyards and crumbling cemeteries has grown into something far greater than we ever anticipated. Our YouTube channel became a vessel for remembrance, a bridge between the past and the present.
In those early days, we told their stories but left their resting places untouched, unaware of the silent importance of a simple gesture – a sign that someone still remembers.
We’ve changed since then. We have evolved.
Now, as we stand before each grave, we lay a single rose in solemn tribute. Not just any rose, but a purple one. Symbolic of mystery, wonder, and the extraordinary lives behind every stone. Purple – long associated with royalty and reverence – speaks the language of respect in a way words cannot.
And as we look to the future, we do so with purpose: to continue this mission with deeper reverence, to honour the forgotten not just with stories, but with presence.
