There are many war heroes, perhaps too many to mention. But in this video we visit Darwen Cemetery to pay our respects to a man named John Farnhill.

He was discharged from the armed services three times, something of which is unheard of! Simply put, John was a restless spirit. Always wanting to fight for his country. And despite having a wife and five children, the call of war always seemed too much to resist.

We have found this story thanks to a chap called TONY FOSTER who has looked into the history of John.
