In this video, we visit the picturesque village of Ribchester or more importantly, St. Wilfred’s Parish Church, to search for the grave of a man who was ‘only’ a travelling labourer.

And yet his headstone has been in situ ever since he died back in 1776, whereas other headstones from that period have seemingly ‘disappeared’.

So why is this one headstone still there today and what makes it so special?
