Original built 1787, and a new chapel built in 1854, Haslingden Congregational Church no longer exists within the town.
However, many graves, along with their headstones can be found lying hidden away and becoming forgotten about. With overgrown vegetation, rubbish and headstones collapsing, this once magnificent graveyard is now but a shadow of its former past.
