In the shadowed silence of Manchester’s ANGEL MEADOW, a grim mystery lies buried in time. Known only as the ‘Angel of the Meadow’, the skeletal remains of a woman were discovered in 2010 – cloaked in decay, wrapped in rags, and left forgotten in a shallow grave beneath a former old car park.
Her body bore the marks of brutal violence, yet her name, her story, and her killer remain lost in the darkness.
Despite investigators’ efforts, the Angel’s identity has never been uncovered, leaving behind a haunting echo of a life erased and a soul left to wander unnamed.
In 2015, she was finally laid to rest within the grounds of Manchester’s famous SOUTHERN CEMETERY.
