In this video, we venture deep into the shadows of EPIC UNIVERSE — the newest and most ambitious theme park ever conjured by Universal Studios. Still weeks away from its grand opening on May 22nd, 2025, we were among the fortunate few to slip behind the gates during a rare preview in April.

As lifelong devotees of all things dark and macabre, our journey naturally led us to one place: the DARK UNIVERSE — a chilling realm where fog curls through gothic ruins and the legacy of Universal’s most infamous creatures lives on.

This is one of five uniquely immersive lands within EPIC UNIVERSE, standing alongside the whimsical chaos of Super Nintendo World, the spellbound corridors of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic, the dragon-filled skies of Isle of Berk, and the starlit wonder of Celestial Park.

The Universal Monsters are the iconic creatures that haunted cinema screens throughout the 1920s to the 1950s, forming the foundation of classic horror. These legendary figures include Dracula, Frankenstein’s Monster, The Mummy, The Wolf Man, The Invisible Man, and The Creature from the Black Lagoon — each one a symbol of fear, tragedy, and the supernatural.

While we absolutely acknowledge chilling figures like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde and The Phantom of the Opera, for this exploration, we’re focusing on the core monsters that defined Universal’s dark legacy and reshaped horror history forever.
