In the first of a series of upcoming videos, we are revisiting the sight of the Helmshore Rail crash that took place on the 4th September 1860.

In this first video, we are at the final resting place’s of both Samuel Duckworth and Mary Heys, just two of the eleven victims who sadly perished in the early hours during the rail crash.

This video will also explain our plans to erect a long lasting memorial to all those who died as well as whose lives where shattered from that one moment in time on the 4th September 1860.

We have set up a GoFundMe page for donations to allow us to collect money for the purchase of such a memorial.

If you can, please donate as little or as much as you possibly can to help.
